Free, Weekly Bike Repair/ Bike Maintenance Classes

Schedule of Weekly Class Topics

Classes meet Sundays, 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the Bike Co-op Workshop.

All classes will also provide time for beginner questions like "How do I fix my flat tire?"

Dates: Every Sunday, Feb. 3 – Apr. 27, 2008
Time: 2:00 – 4:00 pm
Location: 202 S. Broadway, Urbana, IL
       (corner of Elm and Broadway)
       This is the post office building by Lincoln Square,
     which now houses the Independent Media Center.
       Enter bike co-op from "Cherry Alley", which is
     on the south side of the building by Lincoln Square;
     go down the outside stairs to the lower level.
Open to: Everyone!
Price: Free, free, free!

Each Free Weekly Class will cover a different aspect of basic bicycle mechanics e.g. seats, spokes, bottom brackets), and provide time for beginner/frequently-asked questions (how do I change a tire?) and also give intermediate students extra hands-on training in that weeks' topic.
