Buy a bike: nicely repaired bikes
Stop by and see our showroom of lovingly repaired used bikes — checked, cleaned, and ready to ride home.
- Repaired bikes are available for sale during our staffed shop hours, year 'round — except for late August and late April, in the days leading up to our semi-annual Bike Auctions.
- Ready-to-ride bikes start at $45, with most avaialble for less than $100.
- Custom/rush jobs (bikes not currently ready-to-ride) will be charged extra.
- Members receive discount on bike purchases, plus bigger discount on added extras like baskets and fenders.
- More bikes become available all the time (from our rotating stock of 100 or so non-repaired bikes), as Bike Project people repair them
Build-a-Bike: your labor, your savings
For lower prices, and a broader selection of bikes, consider joining as a member, then take advanage of Build-a-Bike:

Pick an unrepaired used bike to salvage, most will cost $10
Buy parts (if needed) at our very-low member prices.
Work on the bike in our shop (members have 24-hr shop access).
Keep your incomplete bike in our storage area between visits.
Finish your bike, find someone to double-check your work, and ride away!
Custom builds – including fixed gear builds – encouraged. (Go ahead, you know it's time to make a fixie!)
Earn-a-bike: youth skills and bike ownership
Kids aged 12 — 15 may be interested in our new Earn-a-Bike program.
No membership fee required! Participants learn bike repair skills as they first build one bike to be given away, then build a second bike to keep for themselves. Slots currently limited, please email us if interested in reserving a future slot.
Payment
Bikes may be paid for with cash, credit card, local check (w/ government-issued ID), bank account electronic debit, or Paypal account.
